SOS Children's Villages welcomes volunteers to help us raise awareness for orphaned and abandoned children. SOS is the world's largest charity dedicated to raising orphaned and abandoned children. Here are some of our volunteers have played an important role in helping SOS children all over the world:

| Annie Arnzen and an SOS child in Botswana |
Annie Arnzen was 14 when she visited an SOS Village in Botswana. "I went hoping to make a small difference," she said. "After spending a week with the children at SOS I found that they touched my heart and changed me forever."
Annie returned to high school in Massachusetts and created A Precious Cause to raise funds for a new SOS village in Botswana. Working with neighboring high schools, she already has raised $25,000 and has a goal of $300,000!

| Alesia Muklebust |
Alesia Muklebust, a sixth grade student at Arrowhead Elementary School in New York, decided to organize a fundraiser for SOS Children's Villages after learning about Africa and working on a project about orphaned children.
She called the event "Kicking in for Kids" where each individual paid $1 to take three shots against a professional soccer player.
