8/11/2007 - FIFA and its long-standing charity partner SOS Children's Villages are proud to announce the success of their latest joint campaign, "Let's Play, Let's Build", the official charity campaign of this year's FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada. The campaign surpassed its goal of $2 million and raised a total of $2.12 million, which will be used to combat the growing HIV/AIDS crisis in southern Africa. Jakarta floods: Children in need of immediate aid

2/5/2007 - Children in the areas affected by the heavy flooding in Jakarta were in urgent need of aid. The Director of SOS Children's Villages in Indonesia reported many children were suffering from various diseases due to unhygienic conditions, a lack of drinking water, and a shortage of food.
