SOS Video: Since our Emergency Relief Program got underway across East African countries Ethiopia, Somalia, and Kenya in July 2011, SOS Children's Villages has helped save lives and improve living conditions for in excess of 70,000 of the worst-affected victims of famine, through the provision of medical services, food, water and other essential supplies.

In Badbado, Somalia, the psychological welfare of children is being addressed by the creation of child friendly spaces. Here, the trauma of the past is put aside as children are nurtured in an atmosphere where their fun and play provides everyone with reason to be optimistic.
