World-famous DJ Surprises Children at the SOS Village in South Africa
CAPE TOWN, South Africa—World-renowned DJ, Martin Garrix, surprised more than 100 children at the SOS Village in Cape Town, South Africa, with a special visit and performance this Thursday.

The visit comes as the Netherlands-born artist officially announced his support for SOS Children’s Villages, an international organization that builds families for orphaned, abandoned and other vulnerable children.

"It is wonderful to see how SOS Children's Villages creates a family for children worldwide. I know how important family is. I hope that, with my support, SOS can help much more children,” said Garrix, 20, one of the youngest and most successful DJs in the world.

Garrix played a music set, even letting the children try out their skills as DJs. At the SOS Village—one of 570 SOS Village worldwide—the children grow up in SOS Families with a dedicated caregiver known as an SOS Mother.
