In Peru, llamas have been an important part of life for thousands of years! With their thick wool and padded toes, llamas can climb the cold, steep terrain of the Andes Mountains—the longest mountain range in the world.  

For many children around the world, poverty can make it hard to dream big or plan for the future. That’s why programs like child sponsorship or strengthening families are so important—they provide hope, education and the chance to believe that a bright future is possible.
