EduCare Ethiopia

A comprehensive model for sustainable impact

Building resilience through education, family strengthening, livelihood assistance and inclusive partnerships.

Every child has the right to grow up in a safe and inclusive environment where they can learn and access future opportunities for success. But without a stable family unit or access to quality education, a child’s potential is compromised from the start.

EduCare’s data-driven model provides all-inclusive support that meets every aspect of a child’s basic needs. With child-first integration of education and holistic care, EduCare supplies children, families, schools and communities with the knowledge, resources and opportunities they need to build more inclusive societies and resilient futures so children can achieve their full potential.

Our approach

– Provide essential services to reduce school dropout rates and increase school enrollment rates among previously out-of-school and at-risk students.

– Enhance educational capacity and teaching quality at public schools.

Increase self-reliance and economic security of caregivers and equip vulnerable families with the tools to provide for their households and overcome crises that lead to family separation.

– Establish and strengthen partnerships to mobilize networks of support and ensure EduCare’s long-term scalability and sustainability.

What is a child’s future worth?

EduCare is the holistic, transformative solution that meets children’s immediate and educational needs, strengthens families and builds resilient communities for sustainable long-term development. By addressing the root of educational barriers—like poverty—EduCare creates an unshakeable foundation for brighter futures—one child, one family, one community at a time.

To continue this life-changing work, we are raising $1 million for EduCare Ethiopia from partners who value the depth and longevity of support EduCare provides. Partners who seek the deep, lasting change that can only be achieved by an organization with the scale and expertise of SOS Children’s Villages.

Your partnership can ensure thousands more children stay in school, dream boldly and realize their full potential for themselves and their community.

This is more than an investment—you can be the catalyst for unlocking children’s futures, breaking cycles of poverty and shaping Ethiopia’s tomorrow.

It takes a village to change lives. Are you ready to join ours?
