Haiti earthquake

Please send help now. On August 14, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck western Haiti near our village in Les Cayes. Thankfully, the children and staff at our three villages in Haiti are safe—but the country is in a state of crisis.

SOS Children’s Villages in Haiti helps children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it. We strengthen families, give loving homes to children in alternative care, offer educational programs and provide professional training. We will be sure to send updates as soon as they’re available.

In the meantime, your tax-deductible gift will bring immediate relief—and sustain longer-term recovery efforts—for the vulnerable children, families and communities in Haiti.

Your tax-deductible gift to SOS Children’s Villages USA today provides children with:

  1. Emergency relief in crisis situations
  2. Critical medical supplies
  3. Healthy meals and clean water
  4. Vital psychotherapy support
  5. Quality education and resources for distance learning

Established in 1949, SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest organization focused on ensuring that children and young people without parental care—or who are at risk of losing it—grow up with the care, relationships and support they need to become their strongest selves.
