Day after day, SOS Children’s Villages caregivers make sure that children and young people receive individualized care and support so they can grow to become their strongest selves.
Since 2012, SOS Children's Villages has celebrated the work and commitment of our caregivers—SOS parents, aunts, family assistants and youth care workers—through the Helmut Kutin Award, named after our former president. Our inspiring award recipients through the years have come from Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, India, Jordan, Nepal, Peru, the Philippines, South Sudan and Syria.
Where will our 2021 winners come from? We need your help!
We are now seeking nominations for the 2021 Helmut Kutin Award. We're asking children, young people, SOS alumni and staff to nominate an SOS Children's Villages caregiver who they feel has made a profound difference in the lives of children.

After the nomination phase closes, there will be a public vote and a global committee decision with youth participation to select the two winners. These winners will be celebrated in their own countries and at the SOS Children's Villages General Assembly in June, representing all of our outstanding caregivers who make a difference in the lives of children around the world.
