Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, children need you now more than ever.
SOS USA is proud to participate in #GivingTuesdayNow: a new global day of giving on May 5, 2020. Giving Tuesday typically occurs toward the end of the year—but this additional day was created to respond to the urgent needs of the COVID-19 crisis. It will be a critical day of philanthropy!
On May 5, your donation will instantly double! Your gift will be matched up to $10,000, thanks to the SOS USA Board of Directors and Advisory Board Members.
SOS Children’s Villages’ global infrastructure across 136 countries and territories means we’re on the ground, well-equipped to protect the world’s most vulnerable children and families. With a 70-year history of supporting children and helping families with disaster relief in times of hardship—beginning with the care of orphaned children after World War II—we are poised and ready to respond to this pandemic on a global level.
But we can’t do it without you.
Our #GivingTuesdayNow goal is to raise $10,000 to protect as many children and families as possible, including those in areas hit hardest by this disease. Your gift will be doubled, but only on May 5—so please give while our match is still available!
With no end in sight to this emergency, more children and families will be impacted in the weeks and months ahead. Your donation will help them recover from this crisis today and well into the future, providing critical food, hygiene supplies, safety and shelter to people in need.
