SOS USA by identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding SOS USA’s corporate and philanthropic foundation donors, cause related-marketing partners and nascent corporate membership program. You are instrumental in hitting a $3M annual revenue target in 2020.  Seeking new sources of institutional support and maintaining strong relationships with current partners, this position will provide administrative oversight in the pre-award solicitation and negotiation, post-award management and administration of grants and cooperative agreements. 

The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations is also responsible for developing a data driven prospecting methodology that identifies institutional prospects whose giving priorities align with our current programs, as well as coordinating program design and proposal development. For awarded grants, s/he leads program implementation, oversight, and financial and impact reporting in collaboration with in-country field teams, and with the support of select departments within SOS USA and/or SOS Children’s Villages International (SOS CVI). S/he will supervise two staff members on the Corporate and Foundations Team at SOS USA while also overseeing key personnel and sub-grantees directly contracted to support the effective implementation of a donor-funded programs within the SOS USA portfolio.

The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations serves as the voice of SOS USA’s flagship funders to ensure their requirements are executed in program execution while leveraging the success of current programs into investments with new foundations. This role will create and maintain an active pipeline of new corporate foundations that look forward to the opportunity to partner with SOS USA.

You will have an opportunity to dive deep into the work of SOS Children’s Villages and articulate SOS USA’s theory of change to better connect our work with corporate foundations looking to invest and scale our impacts.  You will work closely with the Associate Director of Foundations, Program Officer, and the VP of Development and Communications to articulate SOS USA’s theory of change and communicate this broadly to the philanthropic community. You will work with the Associate Director of Foundations and the VP of Development and Communications to report on the KPIs relevant to the work to be shared monthly with leaders of the organization for brainstorming, knowledge transfer and qualitative evaluation for continual improvement.

The position is based in Washington, DC. The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations will report to the VP of Development and Communications and work closely with President & CEO, and supervise the Associate Director of Foundations and the Program Officer.

SOS USA is seeking an enthusiastic Content & Marketing Coordinator to support the Content Development and Marketing Teams with the collection, curation and development of written, social media, multimedia and digital content to tell the SOS USA story. Your focus will be to support the overarching narrative to help engage the caring communities in the US into the mission and work of SOS. You will help create content to inspire those communities to make an impact in the lives of vulnerable children by sponsoring families, children and donating to SOS USA as one of their primary charities of choice. This role is instrumental for developing across-the-funnel engagement, converting awareness to engagement and contribution.

This role serves both an inside and an outside role needing to consider the external audiences and moving them to connect with SOS USA, as well as working inter-departmentally - with the various development staff who customize content needed for various donor audiences which include but are not limited to mass market individuals, philanthropic and corporate foundations, CSR and employee engagement staff at for-profit businesses, as well as high net worth donors.

You will have an opportunity work on content creation, assist with strategic dissemination and collaborate with team members to build the right campaign content to serve all SOS USA audiences. You will also maintain SOS USA's social media channels and create engagement through those platforms that yield investments from followers. You will also have the opportunity to learn from each outreach and assess analytics to improve messaging and content to all of SOS USA's stakeholder groups.

The position is based in Washington, DC. The Content & Marketing Coordinator will report to the head of the Content Development team and will work collaboratively with head of the Marketing team on all aspects of communications.

SOS USA is seeking a Fundraising Data and Administrative Coordinator to support the entire philanthropic team with inputting, organizing and reporting on the backend fundraising data that is generated from our work. This position will support and uphold best practices in all database, gift processing, donor/prospect relationship management, acknowledgments, research, and stewardship work. Additionally, the Fundraising Data and Administrative Coordinator will support data analysis to understand donor behavior and ensure overall success of the annual giving, corporate foundations, online giving and major and mid-level gift functions, as well as provide the necessary maintenance to ensure the overall health of the database. Finally, this position will also provide general administrative support and office management.

This position will report directly to the Manager of Fundraising and Data Analytics while working with the Director of Finance and Administration.
